    • The OT1000 is a temperature data logger with a flexible external probe. This device was designed to monitor and record the cooking and cooling of meat products. The OT1000 is made of TECAFORM®, with a convenient mounting hook. The device is rated IP67, making it splash proof and easy to clean. The OT1000 is simple to use, just activate the logger, insert the probe into a meat product, and then with a couple clicks of the mouse data can be downloaded to a PC for analysis. The software efficiently provides users with the tools necessary to create reports and analyze data. Electronic records can then be saved for future reference. The MadgeTech software includes temperature flags which can be set up to indicate the HACCP cool-down temperatures and calculate cool-down rates. These flags help to create a quick reference for insuring that meat has been cooked and cooled properly.

    • DeltaTrak's In-Transit Temperature Chart Recorder, Model 16000-16502 and RoHS compliant Models 16000-1-16502-1, is a highly reliable, time and temperature strip chart recorder used to record environmental conditions encountered during storage and transportation of food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and other temperature-sensitive commodities in refrigerated trucks, rail cars, ocean and air freight containers. The In-Transit Temperature Chart Recorder models are specially engineered with a light and durable vented case for superior air circulation and faster temperature response. These chart recorders provide maximum accuracy and generate a permanent record of transit conditions on a 36 inch (91 cm) strip chart. A view port allows the operator to visually confirm activation after pulling the temperature chart recorder’s startup tab.

    • The DeltaTrak USB In-Transit Tanker Data Logger is a single-use, 15-day data logger which can record temperature of viscous liquids during transport within a tanker, and data is downloadable via USB connector to a PC. It features a stainless steel probe attached to the data logger by a cable approximately 2.5 meters long. The weighted probe and cable assembly are made of food-grade materials, and the cable features a marker sleeve used to identify where the tanker cover should close on the cable. The probe is placed approximately 1.25 meters into the liquid and remains in this position for the duration of the trip. The cable and probe assembly can be sanitized before placement, thereby preventing contamination of the liquid. When properly placed, the probe measures the temperature of the liquid approximately in the middle of the body of liquid. The added weight ensures the probe cannot float to the top, and allows for accurate internal temperature readings. The tanker data logger itself remains outside the tanker, but within the weather cover enclosure that protects the lid assembly from the elements. Upon arrival, data can be downloaded to a laptop without needing to pull the cable and probe assembly from the tank. This allows the temperature profile of the liquid to be assessed without disturbing the liquid itself. DeltaTrak's Tanker Logger's data can be downloaded and viewed using the DeltaTrak FlashPDF desktop software.

    • Designed with the latest innovations in recording technology, enclosures and functionality, the MRC 5000 is slim, trim and simple. The MRC 5000 is a digital circle chart recorder capable of measuring, recording and controlling up to two process variables from a variety of inputs. Finding a place to install this recorder is easy, with its compact panel depth and short protrusion from the front panel. The mode switch, located next to the display, provides two functions. When in the PROG/CAL/TEST position, it provides access to program parameters, calibration facilities and test functions. Hardware options are matrix selectable and are shipped with default settings. The MRC 5000 directly connects to either thermocouple, RTD, mVDC, VDC, or mADC inputs. Changes in input type are easily accomplished in the field through programming. This instrument has a universal power supply, 90–264VAC line voltage at 50–60Hz.

    • The Circular Temperature Chart Recorder’s external stainless steel probe allows you to measure the temperature of air, gas, liquids and semi-solids. The temperature chart recorder has a quartz clock movement, motorized chart advance and temperature accuracy of ±2°F (±1°C). The chart recorder comes in °F or °C models and runs on 120V or 220V AC, 50/60 Hz. A rear compartment houses 8 AA alkaline batteries, providing up to 48 hours of continuous recording in the event of a temporary power loss. Current temperature is easily read on the chart recorder’s large LED display, while a permanent record is traced on paper charts. Both charts and pens are easily replaced. Select single or continuous chart rotation. Stainless steel probe allows you to measure the temperature of air, gas, liquids, powders, and semi-solids. The temperature chart recorder’s back-up batteries allow continuous function (up to 48 hrs) during power failures.

General Info

  • Data loggers are electronic devices that record data over time or in relation to location either with a built in instrument or sensor or via external instruments and sensors. Increasingly, but not entirely, they are based on a digital processor (or computer). They generally are small, battery powered, portable, and equipped with a microprocessor, internal memory for data storage, and sensors. Some data loggers interface with a personal computer and utilize software to activate the data logger and view and analyze the collected data, while others have a local interface device (keypad, LCD) and can be used as a stand-alone device. Our pressure, humidity, and temperature data loggers are used to measure and record data for a wide variety of applications in many industries including food, pharmaceuticals, energy and more.

  • A chart recorder is an electromechanical device that records an electrical or mechanical input trend onto a piece of paper (the chart). Chart recorders may record several inputs using different color pens and may record onto strip charts or circular charts. Chart recorders may be entirely mechanical with clockwork mechanisms, electro-mechanical with an electrical clockwork mechanism for driving the chart (with mechanical or pressure inputs), or entirely electronic with no mechanical components at all (a virtual chart recorder).Chart recorders are built in three primary formats. Strip chart recorders have a long strip of paper that is ejected out of the recorder. Circular chart recorders have a rotating disc of paper that must be replaced more often, but are more compact and amenable to being enclosed behind glass. Roll chart recorders are similar to strip chart recorders except that the recorded data is stored on a round roll, and the unit is usually fully enclosed. Chart recorders pre-dated electronic data loggers which have replaced them in many applications.
